Meet Your High Performance Team

F. David Williams, CLU, CEBS

Senior Transition Planning Advisory

Dave is a former business owner who founded, grew and sold a successful 30-year business. A short time into a five year non-compete agreement, Dave realized that he wasn’t ready to retire and decided to continue coaching business owners, entrepreneurs and their families. Dave has created some unique strategies to support clients in their transition(s) by eliminating some of the common mistakes and increasing the likelihood of both a successful and meaningful next stage of life and uncovering a meaningful legacy.

He coaches and guides business owners and entrepreneurs to achieve future business success and personal fulfillment by helping them ask and answer the right questions. His personal experience and hard won insights into the process of business transition are invaluable.

NOT ONLY HAVE I BEEN WHERE YOU ARE GOING, I AM WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO BE SOMEDAY AND I CAN TELL YOU IT LOOKS VERY, VERY DIFFERENT THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO!

What is your picture of the next phase of your life? What does that transition look like to you? Open heart surgery forced me to look at mine. Abruptly-and we were not prepared!

I am a former business owner who founded, grew and sold a successful firm after 30 years. I retired to travel, play golf, join boards and then I realized I had “flunked” retirement- while still in the non-compete period.

Now, I work with business owners and entrepreneurs who are and will be going through where I have already been; in fact where I am currently. I am now coaching clients to think or rethink through the process while considering what life will/can look like in the years ahead.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS AS A QUICK STARTER:

* When do I plan to retire?

* Do I know how much money I will need to retire?

* Do I know what I will do with myself in retirement?

* Are my personal, business and estate plans integrated?

* What kind of legacy or charitable goals am I thinking about?
